Ok not new MBUS to me but the 45 degree mounts are. I wanted to be able to have a fast transition from my scope to irons if needed. The scope is a Nikon P223 3-9x. The MBUS work great for fast aquisition at the 45 degree angle. The mounts are NC Star but are very solid and fit under the optic perfectly. Pics!

I have RAPID Transition Sites on my M&P 15-22 and LOVE them.... They are China Knock Offs... but for $32 they are AWESOME....

My M&P 15 Sport stock Sites 100% co-witness with my Reflex Site so Those are Perfect for me on it....

But with a SCOPE the Rapid Transition is a good Call....

Looks great Bud

Ok had a chance to shoot with this setup tonight at the range. I've got to tell you that shooting from the 45 degree offset works! I was surprised how well the gun grouped at 25yds!

I found it very easy and fast to transition between the scope and the irons. Really digging the setup.

I'd recommend it to anyone running a 2x or greater magnified optic.
