I love everything about the Beretta 92FS EXCEPT the fact that it is so big. Grip is way too big for my hands although the new Vertec Grip profile cures this problem. Since I've got a M&P full size and the P365, both of which fit my hands perfectly I no longer can justify another 9
Couldn't agree more...I wear a medium glove.... that's why I went with the 92 Compact and then the Centurion for "duty size" hi-cap carry guns...... 4.25 inch barrel/slide vs the 4.9 on the M-9.
First off I wanted DA/SA for concealed carry after a decade of carrying various .45 1911s and a SA .380.
Post 2000 civilian versions have a radiused backstrap which shortens the trigger reach and for the past 5/6 years we've had the ultra-thin G-10 grips
Also I've retrofitted my carry guns with the decocker only G kit
Today Mecgar offers a 15 rd mag for the Compact and a 18rd mag for the Centurion.
That said I did use a 92 Elite II as a 'gaming' gun.... many of the features above but with a 4.7" flush barrel/slide and decocker only.
I do have one Full size Inox with the barrel cut flush with the slide radiused backstrap and ultra-thin G-10 grips that's a 18+1 house gun! 20 and 30 rd factory/Mecgar mags are available.
IMHO the M-9 should have been the Centurion Model w/18rd mag!
My first Beretta was a 70s back in the early 80s durning my cocked and locked days...
NO need to "justify" another 9mm..... kinda "WANT" is good enough!!
