What are your thoughts on the 170170 Camfour 586-L Comp?
And its $1K or so going price for a current production? I have contacted Camfour and they have only had about 880 of these produced since 2000.

Thanks and here's the description and a few pics:

I would go $1000 - for an original pre lock 586-5 L-comp. Mine is a nice revolver.

Not for that one though. The roll marks are ugly, to me. So is the recontoured frame.

I'd take the $1000 and seek out the original. Regards 18DAI.

I love mine but I wouldn't pay $1000 for it. I'd keep an eye out for a good used one. I bought mine from a forum member here for $650 and it had only had 30rds through it. IMO, that price it was a very good deal, left room for me to have a little work done on it and get some grips that fit me.

Looks great, but I don't like locks or compensators. I wouldn't pay extra for that. You can get an action job for like $50 or do it yourself for free.

Thanks, I'm going to pass unless I can find an almost NIB for around $750 or so. I found a 6rdr for that price but I prefer the 7rdr.
