hey guys just got my new permit 1/13, it only took 1 year and 2 days for my interview and another 3 months and 2 days before i got my permit here in the communist state of NY.

Congratulations! I got mine last month from California. People in the middle have no idea what we go through!

congrats on your permit also. it was under the impression that like in the peoples republic of NY only the criminals in California were allowed to carry. i have an lcp, and a 340pd i just got for Christmas. they've been on my wife's permit and i had to transfer them to my permit. i haven't had a chance to shoot the 340 yet, but from what i've seen on you tube i'm in for a hurtin' with the full 357loads. i plan on using .38s at the range and the .357s sparingly and for carrry.

Good grief. Congrats to you both. In Michigan, we walk in to buy a gun and can walk out in 10 minutes with said gun. We are a shall issue state and that means we apply and (because of paperwork backlog) get our permit in about 30 days.

I cannot imagine going through what you do.

Gee, it took me four days to get my CCW Permit.

I mailed it in on Monday and received my new one on Thursday. Even with the slow postal service that was pretty quick.
