I have early S&W Model 1905 revolvers in 32-20 and have always heard that I should use mild loads. I currently load 93 grain lead to about 750 fps for target shooting. Years ago, ammo manufacturers had a rifle load and a revolver load and pistol shooters were admonished that they should not use rifle loads.
Recently I found that Remington was selling 32-20 "Rifle" ammunition. The question is whether this is safe for older 32-20 revolvers? Most forum members have stated that all 32-20 ammo manufactured today is safe for revolvers, but I wonder? The specs for the Remington ammo is below. BTW - it sells for $51.44 a box!
