New die sets, should they be cleaned before use?

I have 5 new hornady die sets. Should I disassemble them, submerge them in the solvent tank, flush them out with the flow through brush and blow them dry with compressed air before use/storage?

They will be stored and used in my shop which can encounter some high humidity at times. Should they be coated with a light oil, maybe breakfree or something?

Thanks

If you don't completely degrease the dies- especially the primer punch, the little locking nut will not get a good grasp on it and it'll just push out the top.

I learned this the hard way some years ago.
