First purchase into the S&W world. Hopefully not my last. Got into guns for the first time 2 years ago and to attain my CHL. Purchase my first handgun a Glock 23 .40 cal. Not a bad starter gun. Didn't know much at the time. Did enough shooting at the range to get my time in and take CHL test. Since I haven't been back. Haven't had the money or time to get back out there. Recently I told my self I would spend more time getting away and going to the range. This gun fits the bill since I've been looking for a smaller concealed carry gun. I also purchased a Taurus PT709 Slim 9mm for my wife. I think it's going to be too much for her. Probably going to be scoping out for a .22 little Ruger or Walther. Much easier for her to shoot. I can't wait to get out there and fire away....Any feedback and pointer/tips would be appreciated with my new pistol. Happy shooting!

Wow! Thanks for the welcome! Make me feel right at home. Why don't I just pull up a gun..... That's a concealed gun :)

Welcome aboard from the great state of Pennsylvania!

So far since we've talked about her going to the range with me next weekend.... She seems to think she might be able to handle the 9mm. That may be true but I'm thinking about renting a .380 or .22 while we're there in the event the Shield is too much for her. Any recommendations on some pistols in those calibers? Thank for the help!
