I like 'em. They look terrific on your Chiefs.

I have my eye out for a set of those and a set of bananas for a couple of my Chiefs.

I also like that slightly bobbed hammer on your Chiefs. Lookin' good.

TBC, Thx... oh and the half bobbed hammer was done by the original owner, my father.

I never found out why but I think it made it less likely to snag when in his pocket.

Believe it or not, I also have a 2 inch '73 model 36 with a bobbed hammer and a set of target grips. Yours is nicer than mine, but mine is presentable. Congrats on a great gun. I found the targets online used for $40, a great value, and maybe the best feeling grips I own.

Why is it that those grips aren't correct for the gun? Did they not offer them in '73?

Jim NNN, I'm not sure if or when target grips were available for the model 36 but I know my particular gun came with magnas.

Best regards,

I have a set that was NIW when I bought it and I tried it on my Model 36 for a bit. I eventually found the right grips for me for my 36 and I am waiting for the right kit gun to come along to put the targets on.
