New Family Member Needs a Name

Wess ( short for Wesson ) ?

How about Panzer..... Tank.....

We were in the hot tub the other night, my wife, daughter and I. I always talk about getting another dog for the shop here.

My daughter say's what would you name it? The first thing causally that popped in my head was

Mud Flap........

So now she said the next animal she gets , she is going to name Mud Flap. I said you can't steal my name.

The dog next door is named Chief, I named him Frank just being silly with the kids. So now his name on our side of the fence is Frank.

Cute little bugger.

Boy some great names I like Porter, too cool, but so far Chewy is fitting. I forgot what it was like having a Baby in the house:D lets see a 11:00 PM feeding and playfest. then a 3:00AM feeding and Playfest again. he is snoozing again right now, but he May qualify for a name like Baron Von PiddlePooper:eek:

Dan

he looks like a "Phred"
Growing up we had a tea cup poodle. My dad named him "Spike"-Y'all ca see where I got MY sense of humor ;)

I agree it can be hard to come up with a suitable name. I had to put my 10 year old Golden Retriever down this spring. It was the most difficult thing I've ever done. I recently adopted a 2 year old Golden in need of a new home, and it took quite a bit of deliberation to finally come up with (Win)Chester. In the case of your little guy...I'm with the others who have suggested "Tuco".

"When you are going to shoot someone, shoot. Don't talk!"

how about carlos which is spanish for charles. carlos also happens to be the first name of well know Marine Corps sniper Carlos Hathcock

When my son was 4 years old (he's 24 now) I had to put down my last Pet, He was a 15 year old Bull Mastiff and it was the hardest thing I ever had to do. Swore I would never get attached to another Dog again...... Well this little guy joined the Family today he is 7 weeks old and I went the other way as far as size, he is a Chihuahua sp?. Ive been thrashing some names around but nothing is sticking. How about some help guys and gals. He even came home with his favorite toy :D

Thanks

Dan

Consider the advantages of a name like "Downdammit".

i still think blondie would be a good choice i mean look at the puppy's beautiful fur it looks blonde in color. p.s actor Clint Eastwood played a character named Blondie in the western movie the good the bad and the ugly

"Nitro!!!!"

"Jake!!!!"

From the Blacksmith Fire-Pot, call him "Clinker!!!"

"Rex!!!"

I'm still liking "Mud-Flap!!!" OR "Nitro!!!"

He'll let you know eventually! Good Luck!

Hey Dan, He's 'cute' almost as big as Lauras "Tinker" (Tinkertoy..)
but that little fluff of puff looks like a 'Thor' or a 'Thunder' to me.........
Good luck, and take care of the little 'booger'......

I have 2 Chihuahuas, both females. Your dog looks like "PePe" or "Petey" to me. Typically dogs with short snoots eventually do something called "reverse sneezing". They make a terrible sounding noise that can last 10-15 seconds. It sounds like they can't catch their breath. Don't panic, it's normal. If your there when it happens you can pick them up and pet them to calm them down. Feed him dry food, their teeth go bad pretty quick on diet of canned stuff.

Thanks everyone for the great Inspirations, some great names. My favorite Movie is "the Good the Bad and the Ugly" So "Tuco" really hit home for me, I cant tell you how many time I went to see the Spaghetti Westerns back in the 60's and 70's. . The little Bugger actually is a devious little pup so the name is perfect and so it shall be.

thanks

Dan

You need to get a couple more..................Blondie, Angel Eyes, and Tuco!
