It's true that they name themselves. Once had a dog I named "Levi Garrett" Why you might ask? Cuz he ate my chewing tobacco !!!
Before that "Tuco" name sticks how about "Guero" pronounced "Wurrow" means 'White Boy" My Hispanic neighbor had a three legged Yellow lab with that name(ate at my house after his home meals) Ask a Hispanic speaking person to tell you how to say the name....Gotta roll them r's

When my son was 4 years old (he's 24 now) I had to put down my last Pet, He was a 15 year old Bull Mastiff and it was the hardest thing I ever had to do. Swore I would never get attached to another Dog again...... Well this little guy joined the Family today he is 7 weeks old and I went the other way as far as size, he is a Chihuahua sp?. Ive been thrashing some names around but nothing is sticking. How about some help guys and gals. He even came home with his favorite toy

Looks like a "Sparky" to me (which is short for "sparkplug") He can come over to play with us anytime!!

You need a second one, unless somebody's home all the time. They don't eat or poop much. They're a bit hard to house train. They have very small bladders and will "squat and pee" in about 2 milliseconds. That's obviously a long haired Chi. My long hair Chi barely barks at all.

Boy do you know Tuco, thank god for Puppy Pads, he is pretty well trained for the puppy pads now although ocassionally he only gets the front paws on it and misses with the rear.

I havent heard a bark out of him yet, lots of whining if he isnt getting attention though.

So far I am home most of the time but that will change once the Construction side of the economy comes back (I hope).

Your pup is adorable and while I was hoping for a short hair Tuco is acceptable as is
