New Firefighter!

:D I'll sure ask her. That's funny.:D " oh! Here they are, uh oh, klunk! "

That saying came from Firefighter instructors.
It was meant as a training tip in case of some
sort or chemical attack...tanker explosion..etc.

Likely, in that sort of event the beat coppers (boys in blue)
would be first on the scene.
If they were on the ground that was bad JU-JU..Bwana...

Back off and suit up..(hazmat suits)

That gal is a shirt button popper for sure.
Congratulations to her and you can be justly proud of her.

Yessir, I heard that one when I did my training in '85. (Ship-borne cargo accidents) I sent her a text asking, but haven't heard back.

btw, I didn't mean to take it lightly, but it struck me funny when I remembered.:)

Congratulations. My son has been a fire fighter in St. Paul MN for the last ten years and loves it, best job ever for a young person. He has several saves from house fires as well as numerous medic saves. All the action of an LEO but none of the current hate. Best of luck to her.

I'm sure you are proud. Congratulations to you both. Hope she has a long, successful, and (above all) safe career.

Congratulations .As a former firefighter and still current EMT .Who is now a deputy sheriff. She is making a wise choice .Everybody loves to see fire dept show up.May she have a long and safe career .

Congratulations to you both. I pray she has a long, safe and satisfying carrier.

Always nice to be reminded there are many mighty fine young folks coming up behind us, and will be carrying the torch of those who have come before. :)

Congrats. Spent 25+ years as a volunteer firefighter/EMT. Never boring but can be stressful. Just be there for her if she wants to get things off her shoulders.

Thank her for being willing to serve the community.
