New from Eastern PA - and my Shield in 9

I've been lurking on this forum for months to find out info about the Shield and now that mine is here and I love it, I figured its time to join in the fun.

Not new to guns, but this is my first handgun. I'm usually shootin something with a longer barrel in 12g or 30.06. Shooting all my friends handguns is fun at the range but I figured I should just get my own, especially if I'm gonna carry ... its hard to holster a friend and take him with.
