First Range Trip with New Bodyguard 2.0

Yes, having an existing inventory to use is good reason to try it.
I see Fiocchi is a very high quality brand.
Is there something unusual about it's design/primer/powder or physical dimensions that causes the BG2 to have a problem?
Over the past 40+ years of buying ammo, I've never purchased Fiocchi, and I don't know why.
Something unusual......all I can see is the case has a odd crimped ring around the middle that I'm not aware of on other ammo. That's the fmj 380. The XTPHP has no ring and the few of those I shot do fine. I have Fiocchi 38sp and 45, no ring, no issues. Does that ring get hung up on my BG's dbl feed ramp? Idk but that's all I got on that, so no more Fiocchi in that particular gun.

Over 1000 rounds of Fiocchi Range Dynamics through my BG2.0 and not one problem.

It's an aberration, **** happens. I've owned dozens of semi's over many yrs and haven't come across a feeding issue like this. Fortunately there a simple resolution, no Fiocchi in my BG2. Runs fine in my lcp2 so it'll get used up.

"It's an aberration, **** happens"

The BG2 is an aberration.

It was awarded "Handgun of the Year" by Guns & Ammo and NASGW.

I believe it could have been the "Handgun of the Decade".

The concept design is highly innovative and it is feature rich. For size, weight, round count, comfort, concealability, and handling, it's arguably the best striker fired 380 Auto available right now.

It's difficult to understand how such a remarkable highly concealable and pocket carry defense handgun could be released by the legendary Smith & Wesson manufacturer with so many design and quality control failures. The well-documented list of issues is too long and experienced by too many buyers.

S&W's attempt at a "re-do" with the introduction of the Carry Comp model is pathetic.

If one of the other highly reputable, big name firearm manufacturers (Canik, H&K, Beretta, Sig Sauer, etc.) introduced a highly reliable and tested competitive version, that worked "out-of-the-box" as advertised and expected, I would buy two, and pay twice the price of my BG2.

That's just my worthless opinion.:)

I here you and agree. However a lot of issues are "peripheral " such as mag loading and specificity of ammo not necessarily the gun itself(maybe sights?) breaking or falling apart. So I guess it's reasonable for some disappointment. Personally I'm not a fan of the wimpy ramps and will see if they stand the test of time. Bottem line for me is all the rich features you said and I shoot it pretty good. Right from the first hands on rental I shot it better than my lcp2.
