Hi all!

New to the forum, but long time shooter / owner. Just recently went on a binge in regards to S&W wheel guns. Been living in GA for the last 23 years after escaping NJ.

So "hi" to all and I look forward to being part of the crew!

So here is the question....

I got two police trades, a 1977 nickel 13-1 4" and a 1983 67-1 4"

Both needed a scrubbing and the 13 has a ding on the front sight and a little bit of bash damage to the nickel. No real major finish issues otherwise. Below are pics. I do not intend to ever sell either, but I did get them at a big store and wanted to see if I got a deal... Or a meh...
I have shot both and they are both very good shooters.

Would 400 each be a decent snag?

$400.00 for the pair would be a fantastic price, but $400.00 each is not so bad. Both models are good guns. If they lock up tight and have no end shake, no nickel flaking off the #13 anywhere, I would pay that for them. K frame S&W's are about the most versatile handguns out there.

Yeah... 400 for both and I would have been dancing in the streets. It seems the panic pricing has struck the used revolver market even... I got a 95% 28-2 6" for 500 a few months ago and I know I paid full used retail then. Today similar guns are going for 700....

But both of these guns are mechanically very good, so I appreciate the input.

Being an admitted K frame fan, yeah, good deals. I would have paid that, but I have a problem. Congrats!

Welcome from Texas phatmax. Great forum for all things S&W, have fun, learn lots, share what you know.

$400.00 is a good deal, not the deal of the century, but good.
