New from Idaho

Hello from Idaho!

I am an Idaho native, served 4 years regular Air Force as a aircraft weapons specialist, followed by 17 years in the Idaho National Guard, retiring in 2002.

I have been a S&W admirer for many years, just recently acquired a primo
Model 27-2 .357, 8-3/8 inch barrel, what a beauty it is!

I hope to find an appropriate Smith wood case for it, as soon as I can.

Anyway, I thought I should say hello, and I believe this will be an interesting forum to follow, and I look forward to learning a lot more about Smiths.

Gunshine State: I was at MacDill AFB, Tampa for 3-1/2 years,
great place to be stationed, did a lot of motorcycle riding after work and on weekends!

Love those Cuban sandwiches, resemble hoagies. Always stopped after hours to pick one up before heading back to base.

The U.S. is a great country, wish I could see it all!
