hi. i'm about to purchase my first firearm. i had planned on getting a ruger p95 9mm, but they are very hard to find. research lead me to the sd9ve at the local academy for 319... hard to beat the price. i will be looking at a eaa k2p 9mm at 420 tomorrow, but i think the sd has me convinced.

i do not plan to carry everyday, but i will most likely backpack/hike with whatever i decide on, and that makes the weight of the sd look good. does anyone know what they did to lose the ounces?
