I am a long time glock and 1911 guy that just discovered M&P. I have been looking for a good carry .45 (g30sf and 1911cmdr been there done that). Laid my dirty little hands on the .45c and loved it, dry fired it and put it back... But... was turned on to the apex trigger parts and picked it back up.
I ordered the aluminum trigger and will tinker from there. I believe a fs .40 is in my future with the fss w/ alum trigger for IDPA esp (because that would be perfect.

Enjoy, love my M&P's, and APEX Parts. Do yourself a favor and get their armorers block.

Welcome from Missouri.

I have Apex parts on all three of my M&P's. DCAEK kits and polymer triggers in both of the 9c's and the FSS kit in my 5" Pro. I also purchased the armorers block. The roll of masking tape that I was using thanked me. I also bought the Apex tray that the armorers block sits on. Very handy to have.

Thanks for the tips and the welcome. I prowled the site after my first groping of the .45c. It seems the apex parts are very popular. I was able to get a pretty good idea of what to expect from handeling the fss kit and what I have read here.
I am lucky to have local smith I am friendly with. He has offered to let tinker an my own guns as much as I like...its good for business lol.
