New Grill

I had my 1st very extensivly used Weber Genesis gas grill for 15 years. Could have kept it going longer with minimal effort but just wanted a new one. My new one has been in vigorous use for six years and is going strong. Good grills.

I have the same grill only with the gas hookup to the house. It's a great grill. The old Weber I had was twelve years old when I got rid of it when we moved. It was still working and just needed new grates. I also just wanted a new one. I actually just finished making burgers on it for dinner.

I just put a period correct, 15" Weber Chicago speaker in one of my Peavey Delta Blues guitar amps. It cooks, just not the way you guys are talking about.:D

Bought a Weber Spirit II E-210 lp gas grill in the mocha brown color. It's my first Weber grill and look forward to using it.

Great choice, mines about 10 years old. Keep it covered for years of service

lol, I got up to 8,
We're down to just four, large and small charcoal grills, a Q-grill and a big Genesis for large gatherings. The Q is just the right size for the two of us for a couple of burgers or a piece of fish. I found the converter hose and run it off a 20-lb. tank. It also works on the small bottles, so it's portable.
We had to retire our old Weber gas grill when the frame rusted out, the burners were shooting flames and my wife declared it a hazard. It was so old that the gas line had lefty threads.
I was lucky to find a propane-fired Genesis locally on Craigslist from a guy who bought a new natural gas model. I'm doing my homework now with the thought of cooking the Thanksgiving turkey on the Genesis.

1998 Genesis 1000 here. On the third cover, I think. Replaced the grate, “flavorizer” bars, wooden handle (twice) and regulator over the years. Current wooden handle is made from a tree branch I cut to size and fitted. Cook our Thanksgiving turkey in it every year.

Works great.

My Weber Silver-C (built in USA) is from 1996 or 1997 and other than a new igniter and a new tank hose regulator, it is all original and works like the day I got it. I have to say that my Backyard Patio does have a roof over head (opened on the sides) and I do keep it covered when not in use which I am sure helps. While it is kept outdoors all year round, it never gets snowed or rained on directly (only a wind driven storm allows rain or snow on top of the cover). We use the Grill 12 months a year as long as it's not too cold out.

It also has a side burner (which seldom gets used) and a fold up shelf which is super handy and helpful for plates, utensils, pot holders and of course a glass of Bourbon. :) Works great for Pizza also. :)

We bought a Weber. I think it is a Spirit but I am not sure of the particulars. It is the first propane grill I've ever had.

I like it. I'm not much of a cook, but I have fun trying to make something edible on it. I did figure out to leave the Italian sausages on the upper rack.
