And it was an outstanding one, Parking lot full, 2 lane access road parked both sides for 1/2 mile and Toll road access parked both sides. Crowded, many new vendors. Picked up a 31-1, 32 Long. Super light wear on muzzle, diamond grips $375.00. All in All a great day to be a collector.

There was a time, way back when, when I made it a point to make ALL the big time gun shows in Texas----never mind the cost of airplane rides.

There were times I came home empty handed, but it never was a waste of time or money.

Living a little farther to the North, DFW area, in the 90's really got me into collecting with all the great shows there. That's not to mention Cash America, First Cash, etc. were every where.

What I believe was the very first NRA Collectors Arms Show was in Nashville--where I saw guns I'd never seen before----and prices I couldn't believe!!

The very best part about it was some/many of the vendors were VERY Hip Dudes!!!

Seems like the next two were in Pittsburgh(??)---------more airplane rides!

I came home empty handed from all three of them.
