Just wanted to chime in & say what-up???, I just got a SW40VE from the local gun show in WPB, and can't wait to shoot it... I've heard about the heavy trigger, but I'll get use to it, or just send it back to S&W, for a fix...

I'd like to thank everyone for the warm welcome, expesitsally my fellow oldtimer, crackerin' floridiains... I fired 50 round thru the SW40VE and man I love that gun... I scared the girl at the range when I fired it, she jumped it was so loud, her boyfriend was shootin' a 9mm. I'm sending it to the repair center in texas to get the trigger lightend up, and to remove some of the gritty feeling...
