I am retired from the US Navy and now of I work for the Dept. of Veterans Affairs at a Medical Center. Seems that even though I retired, the mortgage still needs to be paid. Aside from gun, my other interests are fishing and camping but if I can do all three from one of my two 30+ year old GoldWings, all the better!
I mostly have a Ruger family but I recently picked up my S&W 586 with a 8 3/8" barrel: got a sweet deal from the previous owner (my Dad). This is my first revolver and I mostly needed, I mean wanted, this one for hunting. All the Rugers I have are for either CCW's (LC380 & SR1911) or fun (Mk III & 22/45), so since this is my only S&W, I call it the Step-Child, but I like it!
