New guy from Texas

Hi just wanted to say I am another new guy on the forum. I just placed a S&W M&P 40 on layaway at a local shop. Should pick it up in February if not sooner.
I had a S&W 681 revolver back in the late 80's and early 90's. Carried a few other pistols after that. Really got out of the gun world in 2000 and just now getting back into it.

I am sure I will learn lots of great things on this forum.

Welcome from Wisconsin! You'll like the M&P40. I have one that I bought used from a police buy-back when new ones were issued & liked it so much that I went out & bought a new 40C. The nice thing about that is the full size mags can also be used in the compact. Add an X-grip & it feels just like my full size.
