I just found this forum today and decided to join it after browsing all the info on the M&P series of semiautomatic pistols. I'm thinking about getting my first handgun, a .22LR, and was set on the SIG-Sauer P226 Classic 22 (that's not blasphemous here, is it?
) until I heard about the new M&P22. Hopefully I'll get a chance someday to compare the two before purchasing one or the other...of course I'd like to eventually get both, and a couple other handguns.

I seem to remember something called that, but I think it's extinct.
