Hey y'all. Tough time to become a gun collector/enthusiast, but here I am anyway! Looking forward to making some friends and learning all I can.
I'm 47, and have had, and been around guns my whole life. In the '80s I bought a shotgun and an ak-22, but later sold them. Back in early November, I only had a single shot 12 gauge, and a bolt action .22 rifle, that have been passed down from my late grandfather, to my dad, and on his passing, I inherited.
With this administration, having NO need for reelection, it was obvious, that if you wanted an AR-15, the time was NOW. So I went with the SW MP-15 optics ready, then SW MP 15 Sport, then Remington 870 Tactical, Beretta PX4 Storm subcompact 9mm, IO Industries AK-47, and last but not least, the SW MP 15-22. I also have a Glock 22 FDE in lay away.
Yes we are broke, and I married well,.....my wife is quite invested in getting our conceal carry permits, and shooting our new weapons,...of course the issue is ammo, not interest. She has been very understanding with ALL of our disposable income going to weapons mags and ammo.
