New Handgun Owner, new to the site from Houston, TX

Just picked up my SD9 last week, thought I would join the site and see if there was anything I needed to know about it, and hopefully troubleshoot anything that might happen.

This is my first hand gun I have owned, mainly mess with shotguns, I shoot a Sig 229 at work (USCG) and did not want to break the bank on one of those. I wanted a low cost gun, and I like that Smith and Wesson is a US product, so I will keep my money local.
