I use 5 grains of Unique with a 158 gr. cast SWC in a .38 Special case or 6.5 grains of Unique in .357 Magnum case with the same bullet. The bullets are sized at .358, and I do get some leading that cleans completely with a couple of passes with a bronze brush moistened with some Mpro 7.

In my own 686-4 4" I was surprised to find just how accurate the 147g DEWC moderate loads could really be especially in 38 cases.

Pleasant loads in the 1000-1100 fps range always seemed to give me the best accuracy regardless of the specific recipe.
