New Here, Not to S&W

Just discovered this forum. Been a S&W shooter for many years. Here's my "family", all bought new back in the day:

Model 60 (no dash), 29-2, 14-4, 17-4

Sadly, the original grip panels went missing in 23 years of Army moves..

BUT, they're "shooters", anyhow.

Current project is changing the 29's front sight to a patridge.

29 has 1 buck to its credit, along with countless silhouettes.
17 is a silhouette gun, too.
14 is kind of an orphan, no competition for it. He keeps the others company.

Ah, Virginny! What part? I did two tours in VA. First at Quantico and later at the Pentagon. Did a lot of silhouette shooting with the 29 at Orange.
