A fellow Forum member was kind enough to release a fine set of Herrett's stocks from his collection and I was the lucky recipient of these. I have a fondness for Herrett's stocks, which always seem to fit my hand perfectly. I decided to put them on my 1959 vintage Model 19. Finally got a chance to photograph them. Next up - range time! Thanks, Bob!

Wow! Those are fabulous! I like them!! You know, as nice as the factory grips are, they are not as nice as the Herrett's. In my opinion, that is. I have a number of sets of Herrett's on my Smith revolvers and they are most functional and the best looking grips around, as far as a set of production grips are from a grip making firm. Herrett's knows what it takes to make not only a functional grip but how to make those same grips look wonderful on the gun. These are just beautiful. I would have done the same thing if I had the opportunity to put these grips on another of my revolvers. Well done!

j38, that's a beautiful Model 19 and set of checkered Herrett's. Herrett's and Model 19's are a match made in heaven. Here's a later gun with smooth Jordan Troopers.

Jerry,

I'm glad you posted that picture. Those Herretts really do ice the cake on your Model 19!

Jerry...I think I want those back! I didn't realize they were so pretty. Awesome photo.
