Went out yesterday to zero the scope mounted to my (supposedly) brand-new .30-06 i-Bolt. Didn't fire a single round. Very light strikes on the primer, apparently not enough to set off the charge.
A guy working at the range checked it out, couldn't figure out what was causing it. The firing pin clearly activates when the trigger is squeezed after cycling the action.
The small dot is engraved under the bolt handle, so as far as I know that means the recall has been completed on the bolt.
Any thoughts before I send this rifle back in and have to pay the FFL again to get it back?
