New look for an old M49

I have carried this M49 for the past 40 years, both on and off duty. It has been fired literally 10,000+ rounds, and looks it! Until now. Since it is my favorite, I finally decided to give it a "makeover". It now sports Sterling Gray cerekote. Ready for another 40 years of faithful service. (Sorry for showing off, but I think it looks pretty cool.)

The refinish looks good. Some Spegel boot grips would look great with that finish. Kind of a "Teflon Humpback".

The new look is nice, but personally I prefer the original with patina!
