A couple days ago, I purchased a new M&P 2.0 Compact in 9mm. Felt very good in the hand, and performed even better at the range. I had been shooting my new M&P 2.0 FS 40/357 Sig, so with the 9mm, the recoil was noticeably lighter and accuracy was exceptional. I always liked this size pistol, and it is a good mix of size, weight, capacity and reliability.
After firing 400 trouble free rounds, this new M&P compact will become my EDC. I still have my Glock Gen 4 model 19, but I never got use to the blocky grip and styling. IMHO: S&W really came up with a viable Glock alternative.
This may stir some discussions (and boo's), but I would love to see and have an M&P compact sized single stack!
