Well,

I went shopping today for a Glock 43. To me it was too expensive $550 + Tax.... Did not like the feel of the gun. Also, looked at the M&P 9C w/ thumb safety, which they had on sale. Long story short. I walked out with the new M&P 9C. $475.00 OTD. I already have the shield and FS 9mm. :)

Have one being shipped to my FFL. Feeling antsy like a kid the night before Christmas. Can't wait for it to get here. I got the 40c instead of the 9c it was actually a little bit cheaper then what you paid OTD . . and then order a .40 to 9mm conversion barrel for it and 2 15 round 9mm mags for that. Will get the 357 sig barrel in a month or so then will be able to shoot 3 calibers from one frame. Like having 3 different pistols all for under 800 bucks.

Really a great deal doing it like this .. One could do the same with the Glocks and other MP models too.

Any recommendations on IWB / OWB holsters with the thumb safety?

I just ordered a Cobra Hybrid Holster from Wright Leather Works LLC . Its an IWB/OWB Hybrid both in all leather rides high on the belt which I like. Just remove the clips and use the belt loops and it goes from inside to belt but still the same holster. Worn from 3 to 5 ..

Then ordered a lined kydex from Garrett Industries, LLC called the GX. its an IWB worn at 10 to 2 .. and guess you could even wear it at 4 or 5 too if you wanted but I will wear at 11 or 1 when using it where I can't conceal with the leather one .

Its the same set up I use with my PX4 9mm .

Still waiting for my pistol to arrive at my FFL.

Congratulations on the 9c purchase. I sure like mine and have shot Missouri 124 gr LCSWC, 147 gr Hornady XTP's, 115 gr FMJ of various brands, Hornady 124 gr FMJ and the pistol hasn't had one hiccup with any thing I have shot in it.

another holster sugestion

N82 professional model. I just got off a week of vacation that I wore this every day all day. Drove 8 hours home with it on yesterday. I never thought an iwb holster could be this comfortable.
N82 Tactical
Oh, and about the gun..everytime I squeeze the trigger on my 9c, I like it more. just under 1000 rounds thru it without a hiccup:D

Can be done. I went the other route and have all three whole compact guns. Don't forget that the 40 and 357 use the same mags so no extra cost there. :) I do have a threaded Storm Lake barrel for my 9c as Mn just legalized suppressors.

I'm sure it's no big deal but I didn't want to put all the wear on one frame. Enjoy.

Doing it your way cost a bit more and that was one factor for me. For my savings I may look at getting a shield with what I saved, least that is some what of my plans.

I would like to get a true pocket gun also for those times I can't carry IWB/OWB because of dress. Might even look at a revolver just not sure yet.

Frames are good for what 100k, 150 k rounds maybe more . I'll probably never reach that at my age .. won't shoot in the 357sig mode much, most rounds will be 9mm or 40. The 357 will just be for fun and will bring back memories of the 357 I carried and shot in Alaska years ago !

I plan on carrying it in 40 for my CC.

I went to the range today with my new 9c. I must say I am surprised the trigger is not that bad. 100 rounds and the 9c is really accurate.

Look at the DeSantis mini scabbard I have one for a g26 and mp c
Great it holds the gun very close, with good belt little to no printing.
IMHO
