Took my new mp9 out for 150rds and it ran great. Took it apart to do a detailed cleaning. Removed the sear block housing to clean it and under it and found to be what looks like a small crack. Anyone seen this?

Are you sure it's a crack not some polymer that wasn't finished off properly after moulding? I think you mean you removed the sear block/housing. You shouldn't do this after 150 rounds probably never. Use some Birchwood Casey Gun Scrubber to clean it but then only every 500-1000 rounds is ok.

Looks like a crack and I'd be frustrated if it was my gun, but I don't think it's a catastrophic failure.

sorry, yes sear block. I for sure think it's some sort of crack. if you apply slight pressure it separates. I took it down that far bc that's what I always do just to become more familiar with my guns the first takedown. If I had not have I probably never would have seen this and it probably would have never failed. Emailed Smith. Hopefully they will fix it as I am sort of OCD about things being right. lol:)

No worries, it's a manufacturing defect send it back and get a replacement.
