New M&Ps get three free magazines

as i'm one who also submitted back in April and was still waiting; I've been talking with the SW cs dept in trying to find my submission. They had me try the 3rd party place awhile ago who at the time said they didnt handle online entries, which somewhat concerned me as SW had no data either for me. But SW had me try the 3rd party again today (same # deez posted recently) and this time they did look and found my info. it is being processed.
PHEW!

So to any out there waiting from April entries, yeah it seems a long time but dont give up hope.
I can add the only suggestion i'd give to SW for the future is to somehow give confirmations for those who do enter online. But i wont slam them for not doing so.....

Anyhow just wanted to check in; in case it helps any others on the long term wait list.

As additional information, with the advent of our concealed carry law, there are no home rule laws allowed for concealable firearms, so there are no legal local magazine restrictions anywhere in the state.

An update, mags rec'd today (submitted 3rd week in April). So just over 10 weeks or so from start to finish. And as they are 3 shiny new mags, now I can say well worth the wait (am glad i bought my fs9 when i did).

Now it's time to go get me some more ammo lol

I just called on mine and she said I was in the system (since May 1st) and my order should process soon. It sure takes them awhile but the price is right!
 
My 3 40fs magazines came in today's mail. I bought my pistol 5/29/15 and sent the 3 magazine offer in via "snail mail" on 5/30/15.
Received my 3, absolutely new, 15 round mags directly from S&W, also via regular mail!
 
I know they've done these before, but how often? Is it yearly? Every few months?

Sadly, I missed out this time around, but now I'm in the market.
 
Well, They had one for 2 free magazines last fall and this one for 3 new magazines (excluding the Shield) started around mid-March and ran until May 31st 2015.

S&W doesn't announce ahead of time if they will have this promotion but they might have something this fall. No guarantees though.
 
Update!

I received my replacement magazines, and they sent me the 17 round magazines as originally specified!

I received my mags today. Submitted the application the end of May. This will help with IDPA.
 
Sent mine in the 28th of May and haven't heard anything yet .. others about that time starting to get theirs so mine should be arriving soon.
 
I submitted mine on April 29th online and they still have no record of it. I keep seeing who submitted after me saying they've gotten there's. You'd think they could do better than this.
