New M&Ps get three free magazines

I received my three 17 rnd 9 mm today, submitted on 04/23. One of the mags is tight in the magwell, anyone have this condition? The other two are like the original two i got with the gun.

Mine Arrive Today

I got my three 17 round 9mm magazines in today's mail. (I had almost given up on them). They appear to be new. They arrived loose-packed in brown cardboard box with a wad of wrapping paper on top to take up some empty space in the box. I'm happy!

I got mine today...same packaging as the others shown here. I ordered mine online 6/1 .

3 -17 round mags.

Took exactly 8 weeks for mine, 12rd for a 9c. Came packaged as above. I was surprised because I actually forgot about it!

Hi, all. I've been waiting 14 weeks for my mags. I've been in touch with somebody at S&W and the MIR company roughly every 10 days since week 2 because I moved and needed to change my address. Going to share what I know as fact. Last one I just learned today.

All the MIR company does is verify the rebates. They then send a list to S&W, who then does the shipping of the mags. I've been told several times that they were working on the first list. (i wasn't on.)

They told me to keep calling back and checking, so I have. As of 10 days ago no updated database. 3 different people including the supervisor at S&W responsible for this list and getting the mags out took my new address and told me theyd get it changed when the new "list" came in.

I called this morning and was told by an employee VERY rudly that "the promotion was so successful they are out of stock". I asked when they would have more and the reply VERY rude and loud was "whenever we manufacture more"

14 weeks no mags and then this today. Could be another 2-3 months.

Don't think I'll ever buy another one of their firearms again.

A good deal of the business is closed for a week or so but will keep calling and will keep everybody updated.

Hahaha.. funny stuff... great 1st post.. thank you so much

It has now been 13 weeks and nothing. I called the rebate company did they say I'm in the system and I should get them any day now. I keep seeing that submitted 4-6 weeks after me saying they got theirs already. What's the deal?!?

12 weeks for me now, I just called again and they said I was still going to get them. I asked why others have only waited 8 weeks for the same mags and she said, "ya that happens sometimes". Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!

XDM Mags~ 7 days. XDS Mags~ 5 days. S&W who knows!

10 rounders!

Got mine last week.

They lost my first rebate and so I had to send it back in on July 3rd and it took one month from then.

3 brand new mags! (unfortunately here in the People's Republic of Maryland we only get 10 rounders)

12 weeks since they received my submission, still no mags.....

Have you called S&W ?

If not you should...they will need your serial number

Edit: by the way, what pistol did you buy...M&P right?...New right?...not a Shield right?

More!

They sent me three more! They must have had duplicates of my rebate in their system haha.

5" 9mm Pro Series .......

Milanos says they received my valid submission on the 15th of May, guess I'll call them both on Monday

They received mine May 1st and still no mags. Did you have any luck calling?

The fine print states that this does not include ny, Connecticut and ma...any one know why?..

Only answer I can think of...the home of liberalism. I think if you own a smoothbore flintlock you may be good to go...just an opinion. I live out west where .22's thru .50's are the norm.

I hate for this to be my first post on this forum, but it's a bit frustrating.

It's going on 16 weeks for me and I haven't seen anything. I submitted the form online on May 6th. I contacted CS on August 6th, and all they told me was that the mags are backordered and my order number. But I don't see anywhere that I can check the status of the order.

I sent in my form at the end of may, it is now the start of September, and still nothing.

The guy at the rebate company I have talked to a few times, Ryan, seems incredibly annoyed when I call to get a status update. I have called once every other week since 8 weeks passed. He told me they'll get to me when they get to me and there is nothing I can do about it, or will be done to meet the deadline they set for the promotion.

I called S&W, and they claim they have NO, NONE, ZERO 9mm magazines. I am not kidding. He said whenever they eventually get built, of which there is no timeline, they'll send them out. There will be no additional compensation or expedited shipping for not meeting the terms of the rebate.

What GREAT customer service all around.

I have owned many S&W firearms, and have had to send guns back to be repaired new from the box. I was always treated with great customer service, and turnaround time was always less than 3 weeks.

But I guess since they already have my money, and there's no safety liability, screw me. Just keep sending out all the mags with the new guns, whenever we get to the people who already paid, we get to them.

I am pretty dissappointed.

How much did you pay for the mags again? Oh yeah...they were FREE w/purchase. So no one is screwing you or ignoring you. And of course they are going to fill gun sale orders first before they fill FREE repate orders, it would make no sense to stop selling handguns would it? You have your two that came with the gun correct? Spo your gun functions perfectly?

I get that you are frustrated, but they ran out, be thankful there wasn't a "while supplies last" clause in the offer, and you will eventually get your magazines.
