New M442 owner with grip question (of course!)

New 2 the J find yourself a set of the combat uncle mikes & cut away at them, just be aware that there's metal inside them, a hack saw works great & rasp & file + sandpaper for the final finish, I also cold blued the exposed metal to help it blend with the black..
I karmaed this set a while back but there easy to make & fit the bill for what your looking for..

this is an excellant idea, how do you like it so far?? Now to find a set for me huuummmm....

They worked great & realy helped with felt recoil from the +P 38spls in that 342Ti..
I later put a set of Spegels on that gun & gave the cut down Combats to a fellow forum member here as a Karma..
Those combats are out there, Saw a couple of sets of them yesterday at the gunshow..
Somebody is loosing out on a sales oppertunity as many people want a small compact boot grip with the covered backstrap made of a non tacky rubber that'll also accept speedloaders..
Also Centennial grips should come all they way up the frame to allow for a higher grip hold which will reduce recoil as the hand is more behind the barrel which will eliminate some muzzle flip..

Good Luck!!

I would like to get a set if you could find me a set for a decent price. I want to do exactly what you did to the ones pictured above. You got the actual model # of these grips????
