Regarding family history unreliability, a short time ago I was doing some genealogy research for one of my nephews, and found that a considerable amount of "family lore" I was told while growing up didn't occur or was significantly in error. I even found information about a couple of aunts I had never heard of and didn't even know existed.

Funny thing about cameras..stuff you can barely see shows up like you hit it with an axe..and stuff you would like to show off disappears in to the black hole of photography..
