It took me a while and now I'm officially a member. I visited in the past and was impressed with all the knowledgable and friendly members. I'm no stranger to S&W firearms, my first S&W was a model 36 some 40 years ago and since then I'v collected a few more S&W revolvers and shotguns. I belong to a few other firearms sites and I'm sure I'll frequent S&W Forums quite a bit. I retired a couple years ago from a public safety occupation, EMS supervisor/City of Boston, which kept me busy around the clock. It was a great experience that lasted for 39 years and I have no regrets. I worked with a lot of terrific people both in EMS and the other public safety services. On retireing I transfered from the Boston Police Patrolmans Assoc./EMS Division to the BPPA Retirees Assoc. and get to reminise with my old friends and swap a few war stories. With a lot more free time I plan to be an active member of S&W Forums.
