New Member from Michigan

Hello all,

I am from the suburbs of Detroit. Spent 6 years in the Army from 1980-1986. Helicopter Crew chief. Own my own business these days.

I have owned several handguns over the years, but foolishly sold them off. I am now waiting for my local permit to purchase to come through so I can pick up my new M&P9C. Can't wait to get that baby to the range and see what she can do.

Will be taking the CPL class as soon as I have the M&P in hand. My current guns are all long rifles, mostly military stuff:
an M1903 Springfield ,
a 1942 M1 Garand-Springfield Blue Sky Import
a Browning A5 as well as a nice old model 94 that I haven't shot yet (an inheritance from my father in law).

Looking forward to sound advice from all you M&P experts on the forum!
