Am former LEO, NRA Member, and now operate Government Affairs firm representing clients dealing with N.C. Governmental Agencies. Have really appreciated the Forum with its expert advice and insights from the members. Strongly support the 2nd Amendment! As such, would encourage everyone to personally send handwritten letters to their respective Representatives at Local, State, and Federal levels of Government. The act of taking time to hand write your support or opposition to pending legislation or regulations proposed carries great weight. Not to disparage efforts of the NRA or other fine organizations, but "canned messages" on postcards is less effective compared to a constituent taking time to write. Elected Representatives take very seriously personal communications and 'tally' the results accordingly. Let your voices and respectfully submitted opinions be heard. Best wishes to all.
