Joined the forum recently and I'm very new to shooting. Wife and I have started shooting together every week.

I have a Glock 19 and wife shoots it some, but she likes her .22 M&P compact and so do I. Had some problems finding reliable ammo for it but I think I have that problems solved now.

It is really a comfortable little gun and she likes it because it basically has no kick to it when she fires it. The Glock still gives her a bit of a jolt so she limits the amount she shoots that.

I also shoot a .22 High Standard Double Nine revolver that I found in my son-in-laws gun closet that he doesn't shoot. I have cleaned it up and it looks almost like new, is very reliable and I can actually shoot it more accurately that I can the M&P.

It has one cracked grip on it that I would like to replace just for cosmetic reasons, but it is almost impossible to find replacement parts for those guns and the company has gone out of business. I'm guessing it is about an early 60's vintage revolver based on the model # and serial number.
