Greetings! My name is Chad and I'm from the Las Vegas, NV area. I was once in the USAF for a 6 year stint and I've been working as a construction project manager for the last 10 years or so. Despite awful market conditions I've managed to stay busy and I don't plan on ever leaving the Las Vegas area unless Lake Mead dries up.
Besides guns I really enjoy riding my Raptor 700 in the nearby dune regions and love craft beer!
I purchased an M&P Shield 9mm a little over a year ago. I've been carrying a concealed pistol for about 5 years now and after purchasing the Shield I've stopped looking for the perfect CCW pistol. I have about 2,000 rounds through mine without a single hiccup. As soon as I picked it up and took it for it's first outing I then proceeded to my favorite gunsmith and had them stipple the grip, install an Apex trigger, and install XS Big Dots.
I recently read that S&W is going to be releasing a Shield without the manual thumb safety. I guess I'll just have to get another one for the collection.
Anyways I look forward to lurking the forum section here. I'm a member on a couple of other forums but I don't post much to tell you the truth. I like to read through things from time to time and comment here and there but more of a lurker.
