I just purchased my first Smith & Wesson long gun, the M&P 15-22, and I must say how impressed I am with the gun. I have always been an avid handgun shooter (my very first gun purchase was a model 10), but wanted to add some variety, and the M&P 15-22 was just the ticket. I think half the fun will be in the modifications (scope/optics, sights, shrouds, grips, etc.). Looking forward to getting to know the forum and its members.
