Im having trouble finding a tyvex holster and with the specifics I might have more luck. I have a leather custom holster, but its bulky and the snap is tight, so Id like to find a better holster that I can wear.

Any advice or thoughts would be great!

Welcome to the forum.

S&Ws from the Model 10 to 19 and 64 to 67 as well as a few others are K frames. AHA should be about 1985.

Kydex, a hard plastic, is a popular contemporary holster material, especially for auto loaders with modern finishes. Personally, I stick to leather holsters for carrying anything with a blue finish. There are plenty of quality used leather holsters for 2 inch K frames out there. If looking for a thinner new leather IWB holster take a look at Don Hume. For a thumb break OWB consider a Bianchi 111 or 5BHL.

Welcome aboard from coastal North Carolina. Nice model 10-7.

I'd shy away from holstering the blued finished revolver in Kydex when a Don Hume H715-M WCS inside the waistband holster will be a nice finish friendly choice for concealed carry. Don Hume supplied holsters to law enforcement when these weapons were in widespread use.

I use this holster for my Gen3 pistols that I carry wearing a t-shirt and cargo pants in the humid Carolina summers without printing.
