Hi, I'm new to this site and have a question. I recently bought a S&W model 632 in the new 327 Federal magnum. When I took it out to shoot with new factory ammo it had light hits and did not fire on about half the round and some did not fire on the second or third try. It was sent back to the factory for repair and a new firing pin was installed. Again I went to the range and I still have problems with it. I'm wonderilng if the Federal ammunition has extremely hard primers or what the deal is. I'm going to reload some using different primers. Has anyone had this problem?

:) It should fire with any primers. I would send it back to
S&W for more repair. The only other thing I can tell you to
try is take the side plate off and clean and oil the inside.
S&W sends their guns out dry and there might be enough
friction to slow the hammer down. Good luck and welcome
to the forum. Don
