Just sawing hi! I picked up my Sigma 40VE the other day. Still have to get to the range and put rounds through it.

Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the forum! Lots of good folks and information here. Hope you enjoy.

Welcome

Congrates on your Sigma! I've had mine for years and love it.

No disrespect intended, but make sure you clean and lube before you go to the range. Get any factory crude out of it.

Don't be bothered with all the nay sayers about the trigger, shoot it and you'll love it.

Can't wait to hear back. Be safe and buy lots of ammo!!

Read some of these post on cleaning the gun and polishing the guts a little after you get back from the range, it will make a world of difference. I have 20,400 rounds thru mine now and no BS has happened with mine. I thuroughly clean it everytime I fire it.
About the cleaning, J Rich, RugerNUT, .357, and myself have posted numerous threads on the subject. If you have any question or concerns feel free to post or send one of us a PM, we will be glad to walk you through it.

Thanks everyone. I was going to hit the range last weekend and it didn't work out. I am itching to fire off at least 100 rounds this coming weekend. I have thoroughly cleaned it and put gun oil in all the places noted in the owners manual. I just need to get out and shoot. I have been reading a lot of the threads so far and look forward to all the info you all have to share. Thanks again!

Dont forget to put some lube on the "striker catch block" area. the manual does not say to lube that area but its a good idea to.
