l'm marshalmax, got my feet wet with a Smith back in 78 when l fell in love with IHMSA shooting.Used a mod 28 with a 6''barrel, that l installed, after a lesson from a gunsmith. The N frame is the pinnacle of revolver building. Then the L frame came along. I hear there is an L frame in 44spl. WOW! Home defense at it's best. good to be onboard mm

Welcome from Iowa.
Yes, they built L-Frame .44 Specials. Back in the late '90s the all steel M696. Then a short time later the Airlite M296 Centennial, and then the Airlite M396. All of them have been discontinued, but are highly sought after by collectors.
