What I am trying to identify and get a production date for is, in my poor knowledge, a 5 screw model 10 revolver with a 4 inch pinned barrel and spring tension screw. On the left side of the barrel it has "Smith and Wesson" On the right side it has "38 S & W Special CTG" The serial number on the bottom of the barrel and frame below the grips is C3395XX The number under the ejector rod housing is K 966XX with a 3 below, and the number on the cylinder arm is 966XX The number inside the grips matches the serial number. Can anyone give me any information?
