New Midway Movie

I watched the new version and enjoyed it, but if I had tried to pick the fly specks out of the pepper, I'd found something to not like. It's just a movie, not a history class.

Most likely cause a storm but True history is better than made up history. hollywood just cant figure that out, have to pay some ignorant, ill informed person to “ make up” movies. I double dare anyone to find any move better than 99% of WWII books written by combat Veterans. Find “Company Commander” and “ A Time for Trumpets” by Charles MacDonnald for starters. nuf sed

Agreed I read a wee bit about the Pacific war.

I watched a clip of the new Midway movie, and I was like. pass.

I'll take a book written by the men who were there, or who told their stories to an author, anyway over some Hollywood fantasy film.

The torpedo squadrons knew that they were flying into oblivion, but their actions set up a clear run for the dive bombers. And changed the tide of the war.

Fate certainly smiled upon the US Navy, and scowled at the Imperial Japanese Navy.

Want to read a real good USMC combat book? Find “ The Devil’s Anvil”, my copy has Sledges signature, he was there.

I guess if they crazy enough to remake "Ben Hur" why not "Midway". I doubt that I will see it, r be able to watch it all the way through if I do.
