You have a modern hand ejector...a Model 18, not a Registered Magnum .357.
Sure, it will go up in value, but not enough to where it ain't worth shooting and enjoying it occasionally.
I've seen more than one 5-screw K-22 from 1947 sell for $300-$325 in VERY nice condition.
That's 62 years old. Now, maybe if they were pristine, they would have brought two, three hundred more dollars...big deal.
Is keeping something in a safe for 40 years, and not enjoying it, worth that little amount of money to you? Not to me.
Now, if you had one of those rare .44 Magnums like Doc44's...different story.
